Noa is 11 years old, a sweet, friendly girl from a healthy, close-knit family. After suffering a serious fall, she underwent repeated surgeries to correct the position of displaced vertebra in her back. Unfortunately, the operation triggered a stroke which resulted in brain damage, physical imbalance, and paralysis of the legs.
Noa was referred to a hospital in New York which specializes in treating her unusual medical condition. It’s now several months since Noa and her parents traveled abroad for treatment, and following complex surgeries and grueling therapies, there is major improvement. The next stage of the treatment involves surgery in order to save her legs.
In the meanwhile, Noa’s older sister got married. The parents flew to Israel for the wedding and sheva brachot, but returned immediately thereafter to continue Noa’s treatment.
Noa’s family is in severe financial distress! They are drowning in a sea of debt as they contend with exorbitant medical fees and the costs of living abroad without steady income. Both parents took extended leaves of absence from work to be with their daughter and lend her the physical and emotional support she requires to overcome her challenges.
Have pity on Noa and her family and donate generously to help them surmount this trying period in their lives!
